I bought several bars of 70% and higher cocoa content from Whole Foods for Bear for his Yule stocking. He has Type 2 diabetes, and isn't allowed sweets. The low sugar content of the dark chocolate bars makes them a perfect treat for very special occasions. He was nice enough to share them with me, and I was surprised at how satisfied I was with them! I was afraid they'd taste like baking chocolate (didn't we all take a big bite of our mom's stash when we were little, thinking we were getting away with something?) but they weren't bitter at all... very tasty!
chocolate is an essential nutrient
