Pie? I didn't even know the tiny Italian Restaurant Pane e Vino on Warren St. had pie. I appreciate the sidewalk tip and now I have to find out. Unless......unless the message was really meant for the new bake shop a couple doors down? Hmmmm.
When I was a kid "pizza" was sometimes called a "pizza pie", and is sometimes still called that "up north". I once heard a friend of mine ask his son to "bring him back a pie, too". Maybe that's the kind of pie they're refering to?
maggsworld - Absolutely. I haven't been in the bake shop yet.
brattcat - I do like the Italian place.
Kelly - true. I don't think they have pizza on the menu though. I have a sneaky feeling it was some tipsy college kids and they wrote it in the wrong place. Funny!
Perfect excuse to try both :)
ReplyDeletetry both, of course.
