Yipee for long weekends!
Meeting St., Charleston, S.C.
A couple of sweet spots on lower Meeting St. Lovely iron work on that first one. I'm going to do a collection of fountains in Charleston so make a note of this one. There is going to be a quiz when I gather them all up.
The Post & Courier did a fun Before & After series on Charleston houses as they were after the earthquake and as they are now. Hey - that was my hobby tracking down the old shots!
The CNN documentary "The Last Heart Attack" shows fon CNN Saturday night at 8 p.m. Let's watch and see if we really all have to become vegans. Bummer.
It's the weekend, kids! Yipee!
The homes seem to be relatively compact, yet full of character. That's what we need more of.
ReplyDeleteEven though I have to work on Sunday afternoon, I'll happily take Saturday and Monday off and be grateful. :)
S

ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoyed your before/after shots - don't stop! (and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who steals your ideas!)
ReplyDeletelowandslow - still too many big ones. To be able to afford them they get chopped into apartments.
ReplyDeleteJimmy - love doing squat!
BeachGypsy - welcome to blogland! We do live in the most beautiful place.
James Jacks - thank you! I have fun tracking them down.
