The spire is unique and different from many other churches.

I know what you mean: Norfolk is low and flat too, in building also, but is a great thing in the long run.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot! Do you shoot film or digital? I did a shot just like this about 25 or so years ago, long before they extended the garage. If you shoot film, put your camera on a tripod and after dark, give it a 2 min exposure. The beauty of the church showing glow from the street lights and steeple lights will blow you away!! After shooting film for over 30 yrs I just started shooting digital so I am not sure if you can do a decent digital shot with a long exposure.

ReplyDeleteGeorge - I do shoot digital now. I am such an impatient photographer it is perfect for me. I bet you have some great Charleston shots from through the years.
