Oh Yum. Look at all the bottles of liquid gold. They have tiny little spoons and tasting bottles. Here is the video of Mayor Riley cutting the ribbon at opening ceremony for the recently opened Savannah Bee Company store. Sweet!
I bought a tiny bottle of the tupelo honey to start with. I've already given it away so I'll have to get back down there.

I love honey, but I also hate being sticky. I sure wouldn't want that girl's job! I wonder if Dickens was thinking about honey when he wrote that "best of times, worst of times" thing?

King St. is a lovely shopping district. I've taken to carrying a little pocket camera instead of my big Canon. I think it did pretty well!
It captured the theme and the journey. Handy little camera.

Wonderful, wonderful pictures, Joan! We have yet to go but will soon. I recently purchased some Tupelo Honey at that same store and now have to have some homemade biscuits to go with it. And I got some honey straws to send to my little ones in California. The five year old proclaimed it as the very best honey he has EVER had!
