Charleston, S.C.
Here are a couple of puzzle shots for the local crowd. I took all three on my walk this evening. Can anyone identify the locations? Not so much fun for the non local crowd but colorful shots anyway.
G'night kids. I've been den mother to twenty two teenagers this week and by this time of night I am nodding off. Zzzz....
I like the top picture..it looks like half scorpion half dragon.
ReplyDeleteZZ - I thought it was cute and it looks caged in by the little fence. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo...where is it?? My curiosity is peaked! I was going to maybe guess the new Juanita's in Mt. P...but not sure.
ReplyDeleteNo guesses! I must have made it too hard this time. The dragon creature is on Church St. just about Broad where the Irish Tea Room was for awhile. The colored drape was hanging at St. Michael's and the cat door painting was on Society just off Meeting. I found little gifts left for me all along my walk.
ReplyDeleteI would have never guessed. But, tell me, doesn't the drape looks a bit like a cryo phoenix rising up from a sea of fire? Thanks for sharing!

Joan, behind that wooden panel with the cat face is an area where my two brothers and I played while growing up in Ansonborough - in the 1950s. Dirt, shards of glass, spider webs, yep, we wuz happy guys.
ReplyDeleteI saw the drawing the other night and laughed out loud.
dang, I was too late, but I wouldn't have known them anyhow.
ReplyDeleteJimmy - the drape was hanging in front of a church. Some special revival event I expect although it looks like a sea of fire to me too.
ReplyDeletechuck - I bet that cracked you up! I try not to glorify graffiti but this was good.
Jess - I just happened to get lucky on that walk.
