Central Park, NYC
There is just the perfect amount of snow in Central Park to feel like I was walking through a postcard this morning. I walked through the park and then back on Madison Ave. drooling on all the store windows and stopping for some hot soup. Tonight is the dinner at the James Bear House featuring
Chef Nico Romo from Fish Restaurant - the main purpose for the trip. I can't wait!
Spider Man sends his greetings!
Oh, Joan, you look so classy in your New York black!
ReplyDeleteI've had fun visiting NYC via your photos - reminds me that it's about time for a trip back up there, myself.
ReplyDeleteIf you see Spidey again tell him I think he got a bum deal with how they are handling the next movie.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit, very sharp! I am taking great vicarious thrills from your photos - I am a twenty minute train ride from the heart of it and yet we have all been so sick here (just endless bad colds) that I don't think we will get in to see the windows and the tree until post-Christmas if that. Love the foodie windows! Nothing like NYC around the holidays- enjoy enjoy enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFunny, when I lived in New York, I never spotted Spider Man in Central Park! You were lucky.
ReplyDeleteYou do look classy! Continue to enjoy your trip. Sally
ReplyDeleteYou look terrific. You look just like a 'new yorka'.
ReplyDeleteI love your picture in the elevator!! When Kirby saw it he just rolled his eyes...now he knows I am not the only crazy lady around! Glad you are having such a great time!
ReplyDeleteThanks folks! I was very happy to have warm comfy boots and added that hat at the last minute. It was cold yesterday!
ReplyDeleteWow, how stylish you look. You gonna give us an after dinner review? Please?

The outfit is tres chic - especially adore the military styling and the superb hat. The gnarled and knotted tree appeals especially to me. Is eem to find trees turning up lately as a theme in my paintings..
ReplyDeleteThank you folks! Dinner review is up!
ReplyDeleteMaggsworld - I loved that tree.
Eleanor - Not sure what Spider Man was up to but I hope he had long underwear on under his tights!
Funny, the Monday after Thanksgiving, I sat on a park bench below where you took your photo to have lunch. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and also, I saw that Spidey.
ReplyDeleteBethanyC - No kidding! I heard some Spiderman was injured in a show up there I hope it wasn't this fellow.
ReplyDeleteI had such a great time!
