South Carolina
Anyone familiar with this spot?
I especially loved the fan design in the brick - it was so unusual. I could picture an evening in the fall with a fire in the fire pit and friends enjoying the evening. It wouldn't work for high heels at all. Very cool spot and I took more photos that I'll share shortly but thought I'd see if anyone else knew where it was first.
Middleton Place?
ReplyDeleteI don't know where, but I likey!! I would be happy to join you for a fire on a cool evening. I love thinking about cool evenings in this heat. ~~~Trish
ReplyDeleteA very pretty place!:)
ReplyDeleteMansfield Plantation - definitely on my list of places to photograph! Maybe I can convince Robin to take me away for a weekend this fall! :)
ReplyDeletePamela got it! Mansfield Plantation just outside of Georgetown. Wow. Beautiful spot on the water. This is one of the guest cottages. What an incredible place.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, but it definitely has that 'southern charm'.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteI say lets have a Charleston Bloggers convention and meet here. It's perfect. I'll bring the wine!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking we do need to have a get together but this might be a bit far away.
ReplyDeleteI've been there but could not figure it out to save my life.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing place! It must be wonderful to sit around the fire with friends and a cool drink. I can imagine the brisk discussions...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
Wow! This place looks amazing. I'm adding to my list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteI did not know where it was, but I do know that it is an excellent piece of design, both house and patio.
ReplyDeleteBTW, you are not the only one who takes photos of fallen blossoms on the sidewalk. I know a middle aged man in Va. who does the same thing.
Joan, is this your photo? I just found this very photo right here:

I did take that picture! Looks like it has been around the world and back in a few weeks. It is from Georgetown, S.C. Thanks for letting me know. I traced it back through 4 or 5 sites, none crediting me of course. ;P
