Just found your blog - I lived in Charleston for 3 years and wish it was my hometown. I LOVED it there but unfortunately school and work took my husband and I in a different direction. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and as always, your pictures make me home sick for the Lowcountry.
Bull St! Years ago, those little apartments housed a group of nuns. Thinking back now, I'd bet they were teachers at Bishop England, as they always left early in the morning.
Becky - thank you! Love you links. Will check back.
Julia - Bull St. - thank you! I need to take a pen and paper on my walks. I couldn't recall if it was Bull or Montague. I'll add that. That is funny about the nuns but you are probably right.
bfarr - our sidewalks are all torn up with tree roots. Maybe that's why I started noticing sidewalks.
I often think about just ignoring the news for several days but I worry about what I will find out once I tune back in.

ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, your blog is one of my antidotes to the news, and I appreciate that every day!
ReplyDeleteThat tree sure is having a good time with that sidewalk. I am currently off the news. It's depressing.

It's Bull St, between Ashley and Rutledge. I lived across the street from when I was born until I was 11 so saw that view every day!
