Charleston, S.C.
Snow! How perfect that it is snowing in Charleston while I am watching the opening ceremonies of the winter Olympics in Vancouver. Yipee! I know the rest of the country is weary of the snow but it only happens every ten years or in the lowcountry. We might see a flake or two but it rarely sticks to the ground like this.
My only regret is that is is too dark out to go for a walk or get decent pictures. Stay warm, kids!
Isn't it beautiful? I got some good pics of my palm trees loaded down w/ snow this AM. Can't wait to see what you come up w/ today. What a wonderful way to start the day--waking to a winter wonderland!
ReplyDeleteSnow is better than ice! You don't have any good sledding hills there though, do you?
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing about the Olympics! It was so fitting to have it snowing during the opening ceremonies!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun. I should have up earlier. It melted quickly.
ReplyDeleteNo. no hills as all. Lots of little snowmen melting today though.
It set the perfect mood!
