Sir Geoffry at the Navy Yard Blog posted an entry on the Lone Sailor statue on the banks of the Cooper River.
There are currently twelve of these replica statues found around the country honoring those that have served in the sea services of the United States and any community can apply to have one. The web site gives all the details.
It's a chilly night out. I'm glad he has that warm jacket on.
