I bit my tongue so badly yesterday that I've been walking around with my tongue hanging out saying, "Do you see dat? Dan you see my blubby tongue?" Ouch. It really hurts. How can that happen? I have eaten food before, you'd think I'd know how to do it without biting my tongue off.
I like this, Joan. Hopefully, they didn't get stolen. In some cities, bikes locked up like that would last about 5 minutes before someone came along with a tool to cut 'em loose...
ReplyDeleteSorry about your tongue. I've done the same thing and it does hurt! But it will heal...
Wow, ho hum, *yawn* and this is representing our beautiful Charleston?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your tongue, but in all seriousness, couldn't you keep it somewhat exciting for people that don't live in Charleston?
And for the love of God, could you please stop posting pictures of the freakin boring sidewalks and the ugly graffiti walls? Sometimes you show the worst of Charleston. So many things you are missing!
Maybe look up instead of down?
I can see why you hardly get any comments at all!
Sweetheart, It's not all about you, your job, your *sweat* rolling down your armpits when it's hot....which is extremely gross.....it's supposed to be about Charleston! This had got to be the worst site ever. And then all those links, what is up with that? I could do a hundred times better. In fact, I think I might.
I know you are a good person, and maybe you should start your own "personal blog" instead of stating that this site is about The City of Charleston.
So sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, but someone has to draw the line.
Jacob - Bikes are stolen all the time here as well. I've had a number stolen from my own yard through the years.

ReplyDeleteSissie, There are hundreds of blogs about Charleston. I bet you can find one that better suits your needs. Your visits here only frustrate you.
ReplyDeleteThis is my blog, not the Chamber of Commerce's and the charm is that I get to post what I like and what is happening in my life.
Here is the link to the local blogroll:
The Big Blogroll. See if you can find one that makes you happier to visit, or yes, do start one of your own.
Hi Joan, I love your blog!! You always have the photos of the most interesting places around Charleston, and also photos of interesting things or subjects!!! I enjoy my visit to your blog everytime I have been here!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry but have not been "visiting" alot lately...been struggling with stuff, but trying to be upbeat when I can. :)
Great blog and keep on doin' what you are doing here !! :)
Someone's got to complain about something. We love ya!
ReplyDeleteSunny - Thank you! Hope things go well for you.
ReplyDeletewildstorm - Thanks :) Back at ya!
Joan, another one who loves your blog! ♥
ReplyDeleteYou are the one who inspired me to look down, and I've seen the neatest things since I started doing that.
Hope your tongue feels better soon. I've done that, and it's a real pain when you can't enjoy chocolate because you've bitten your tongue!
Oh, oh, someone either missed their meds or was staring bitterly at an empty vodka bottle by the keyboard at 2:54AM.
ReplyDeleteThe Sidewalk Curator shows us the funny and touching thoughts which people have left for posterity in wet cement. The comment by Anonymous reminds us of something else which often see and try to avoid on our sidewalks.
Our gracious hostess has shown this unfortunate person the door with charity and restraint.
Pixel Peeper, Windviel, Thank you!
