Oprah has her "Aha" moments". I have "Aaaaaaaaaaah!!!! moments. Perhaps I should write a magazine on them.

Why, pray tell, were you even holding a kitchen cabinet?

  6. This Old House Renovations with Joan. Not recommended. :)

I have a cut about my eye, big bruise on my arm and this looks even more impressive from the bottom of my foot. That was just a harder view to get a shot of. I was painting my kitchen and a whole cabinet came off the wall. Broke my Cuisinart. That really hurts.

Today however, my kitchen is a cheery light yellow. I can walk barefoot but shoes are tricky.

  7. That stinks, Joan. I hope you heal quickly.

By the way, I saw your Water Missions International Kenya special on Comcast channel 2 last night. I think it originally aired awhile ago, but I caught it last night. You were good.

Oh, Lord have mercy! Joan! This has not been a good time for you lately! I'm sorry that you have received such an injury! But looking on the bright side, at least it didn't mess up your pedicure! Your toenails look great!

  9. My pain stopped long ago but I'm still only about at the half way point of a big toe nail growing back. It was bruised about 3 months ago.

Hope your pain goes away soon.

Go have some cold peel 'n eat shrimp. That's my comfort food.

  10. Cullen - Thank you! I bet that was a surprise to turn the tv on and see me :) I need to practice speaking slower when I am nervous.

chucker - thanks. My comfort food is toast with peanut butter and honey with tea but shrimp sounds good.

omg Joan I'm sorry to hear about your scuffle with the kitchen cabinet! I've been Twittering (yes, I've taken the plunge, purely for business purposes) and have somewhat neglected my favorite blogs. Take care of yourself!
