That was hard to watch let alone a waste of oysters.Charlestonjoanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12590582268028752174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30462606.post-23659489870876798172011-02-26T10:48:32.926-05:002011-02-26T10:48:32.926-05:00Joan - I am a confirmed lover of raw oysters and c...Joan - I am a confirmed lover of raw oysters and clams. However. They are delicacies - to be sampled individually, with a splash of lemon juice and perhaps a dash of horseradish sauce, accompanied by a glass of white wine or an ice cold beer.

The thought of so disgracing any oyster, by crowding it in a container with multiple others, then slamming it down without regard to its fragile flavor, the subtlety of its liquor, its tender flesh, makes me sad indeed. Not to mention a little queasy.Marchelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201825708442679157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30462606.post-88572670841778802192011-02-26T09:56:51.597-05:002011-02-26T09:56:51.597-05:00carolineinthecity - I can't believe all the ad...carolineinthecity - I can't believe all the adventures you are having! Yes - those I can consume, or prawns, freshly boiled in sea water, unadorned, BUT I have never quite been able to tolerate or consider oysters, personally.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30462606.post-8896730539218231612011-02-26T02:01:33.438-05:002011-02-26T02:01:33.438-05:00I met Mike at Travel Blog Exchange in June.
